Top 3 Wet Weather Driving Tips

1)      Make sure your windshield wipers are fully functional before you drive!  If they leave streaks , or don’t clear the windshield in one wipe your vision will be compromised while driving.
2)      Avoid cruise control. It’s a great feature for dry weather, but in the rain, it increases your chances of losing control of the car.
3)      Slow down, and leave room between you and the car in front of you. You need to have time to react. If you follow too closely, or are driving too fast you increase the risk of an accident.

Songs About Cars

Cars and music go hand in hand. In fact, one of the best things about driving is that we get to do it while listening to our favorite tunes. Don’t believe me? Pay attention the next time you’re getting in your vehicle. One of the first things we instinctively do right after getting in is adjust the stereo.

We’re a nation that loves to drive and loves to listen to music. So, it’s only natural that there have been a lot of songs written about cars and driving. Some songs reference specific vehicles, like Prince’s “Little Red Corvette.” Some are about the joy of driving, like Sammy Hagar’s “I Can’t Drive 55.”

We’ve listed a few of our favorite classic songs about cars below. But, feel free to mention some others in the comments – maybe we missed a few of your own favorite songs about cars.
